Memorial Day Grandiflora road entrance to Alton

memorial day grandiflora entrance

Many parents drive on Central Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens to drop off their children at The Benjamin School. The last leg of their trip is to turn onto Grandiflora Road and onto the school grounds. I took this photo standing on the west end of Grandiflora road looking west. It’s only open to construction vehicles.

The buildings to the right are being constructed in what is called Neighborhood 1. It was the first approved project in Alton by the City Planning and Zoning people.  There are models that will be completed during 2015. On the extreme left of the photo, in the distance, you can see additional construction on the west side of this project. There are also many homes under construction to the north but they are difficult to see as there is no access for the public. Quite a change from January when we first started this blog.
