We attended the Alton Preview Event this past weekend. A total of about five-hundred people attended the four sessions. Each session was the same format, giving a high-level overview of Alton and a handout at the end.
|Attendees were invited to join the “Innovator’s Club” and put down a $5,000 deposit to secure a reservation to be in a drawing for the first 18 homes that are being offered for sale. The deadline for entering this drawing is Friday, September 18th. On Saturday, September 19, 2015, Kolter will randomly draw the names and contact those people who are selected.|
|The deposit is fully-refundable. You can contact Kolter by calling (888) 476-3017. They will assist you in placing your deposit and securing your reservation before the Friday, September 18th deadline.
Kolter did not provide prices or floor plans. They quickly reviewed some floor plans options on the screen and gave price ranges of $500,000 – $1,000,000+ for single family homes and the $400K’s for townhomes.
We always advise buyers of new construction to have a REALTOR® to represent them. Kolter is insisting that you have your REALTOR® with you on your FIRST visit to their sales office otherwise they will not recognize me as your agent. There are a lot of things to be attentive to with “new construction” – our previous clients will be happy to tell you why you should take precautions and always hire a REALTOR® to represent you.
